Hi, I’m Christy Kessens.

 

I help kids turn their time on the computer into creative projects they feel proud of.

 

I’ve worked with students who started unsure and became more confident as they explored their ideas and created things they felt proud of.

​How This Started

​

I did not start out thinking of myself as a creative person. My creativity began with small, personal projects like making cards and scrapbooks. Over time, I became curious about creating things digitally, which led me to Canva.

​

I learned by experimenting and figuring things out step by step, and that is the same approach I now bring to my students. They do not need experience. They just need a place to explore.

What I Noticed

A parent once shared something that stayed with me. Her child was not just learning Canva. She was becoming more confident in herself.

That is when I realized this is about more than learning a tool. It is about helping kids trust their ideas and feel proud of what they create.

What It’s Like to Work Together

​

Each session is designed to feel relaxed and encouraging. I take time to get to know your child and what they enjoy, then we build projects around their interests.

​

As they create, I guide and support them along the way. There is no pressure to get things right. Just a space where they can try ideas and build confidence at their own pace.

What I See Over Time

​

I have seen students go from asking “Does this look good?” to trusting their own decisions, becoming more comfortable sharing their ideas, exploring new ideas on their own, and feeling proud of what they create.
